Part 1/3

Due to numerous requests we are uploading Jikkenteki's first three "albums" worth of material written in 2000-2001. The first, O.R.E. represents Jikkenteki's very first attempts at electronic music. Originally not intended for proper release, these tracks were written solely on a Korg EA-1 synth, a Boss DR-202 drum machine, and a Zoom ST-224 sampler run through a Numark DM 2000X DJ mixer. Due to the lack of a sequencer all tracks were arranged on the fly and made by arranging and tweaking original patches live. These tracks are very much "jamming" and thus lack the refinement (and layers!) found in later work (not to mention the extended track times). Lacking that, enthusiasm and spontaneity are the name of the game here.

The audio quality here is admittedly not the best. These tracks were originally recorded straight onto MD and the original files have long since been lost. Working with available audio files of lower quality, the audio has been remastered to try and improve upon what we had, but the originals had peaks and distortions from the signal being a touch too hot and there was only so much that could be done. Regardless, here is Jikkenteki at his earliest and rawest form, warts and all.

(TTT Part 3 is included as a bonus track. This was rediscovered while looking for the files for O.R.E. and was recorded probably a year or two after the original two versions.)
